Ycara, stands before her people, making an attempt to offer solice.

My beloved graflas, we have suffered greatly over the past few days. I am sorry to say we all found out too late that it was a mistake.

The people of the federation were trying simply to save their own lives. They truly believed that we were doing them harm.

We have discovered that a presence which has been with us since before the arrival of the humans caused the sounds. It is a young creature from another place far away from here. It was singing. The song was one of sorrow and loneliness. Once it began it could not stop.

The young one is called Oberius. Too late, it was able to touch my mind. It meant harm to no one, not aware of the pain it was causing.

Our sorrow is great.

We must find a way to survive. Our lives will never be the same.

The Federation has offered to aid us to keep our graflas from being no more. They have offered to send us supplies to rebuild our world.

I know the anger in all of you, and I understand. I must encourage you to extend your hands to those who would have caused our end. You must see that they are in a sorrowful state over what has happened here. We must all learn that peace it the only way, even when it seems that it is not.

Show these people the mercy that they could not. Hold fast to our teachings and our prayers. We will survive.

Ours will be a world we have never known. We must be strong for each other.

We will cry our tears of sorrow together and will find joy one day together also.

Our skies have changed color since the blasting began, and as it has changed, so must we.
